At least 28 people are dead and
more than 60 others injured after a pair of suicide bombings at
Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport on Tuesday night, Turkish
officials say. A second official said there were two attackers, and each detonated an
explosive device at or near the entrance to the airport’s international
terminal before entering the x-ray security check. Turkish airports have
security checks at both at the entrance of terminal buildings and then
later before entry to departure gates.
